Description
The PHP News retriever is a like-for-like alternative to the BBC News retriever script (Perl) and has the following features: Form parsing using POST or GET (for security, the script only uses untainted data); Multiple sites within the BBC News domain (excluding foreign language pages); Concise mode, i.e. nosummaries; Target option lets you choose if a new browser window is opened; Either specify the number of stories displayed or display all. Uses PHP socket functions to open remote file.
